Speaker: junior researcher of the laboratory No. 1 of ICS “Recognition, identification and optimal decision-making methods”, 2nd year doctoral student in the specialty “Computer Science” of the PhD program of the Institute Rustam Azimov.

Topic: “Text authorship identification”.

Summary: Text authorship recognition has topical applications, such as identifying authors of controversial works of fiction, as well as identifying authors of texts by email, pages of online forums.

Various methods of machine learning have been used to identify the authorship of texts using the example of texts written by Azerbaijani writers, and a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of using text features of different types and proposed feature selection procedures has been carried out. The presentation will show the results of computer experiments on the texts of several Azerbaijani writers written in Azerbaijani language.
