Asaf Hajiyev celebrated his 65th birthday
30.05.2016 / Conferences, assembliesOn 29 May, the renowned science worker, mathematician, head of laboratory at the Institute of Control Systems ANAS Asaf Hajiyev celebrated his 65th birthday.
Asaf Hajiev was born on 29 May 1951in Ganja. In 1973, he graduated from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. He defended his Candidate of Science thesis in 1979, doctoral thesis in 1993 and received the academic title of Professor in 2003.
Dr. Hajiev was elected Corresponding Member of ANAS in 2001 and Full Member of ANAS in 2014.
A. Hajiyev is a co-author of "The Encyclopedia of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics” published in the Azerbaijani language for the first time.
He is the first deputy editor-in-chief of the London-based journal "Management Science and Engineering Management” and member of the editorial board of "Applied and Computational Mathematics”.
A. Hajiyev is the chairman of the academic council for the problems of mathematics under the Council for Organization and Coordination of Scientific Research.
In 2011, Hajiev received "Management Science and Engineering Management” award at the V international conference in Macao, China.
