International scientific conference dedicated to the 80th birthday of Academician Ziyad Samedzade will be held

Following the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, an international scientific-practical conference "New qualitative stage of sustainable development" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician Ziyad Samedzade will be held in November this year, organized by the Institute of Economics of ANAS and the Union of Economists of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the Presidium of ANAS adopted a decision No. 12/12 dated July 16, 2020 to hold a scientific session at the Institute of Economics of ANAS dedicated to the contributions of Academician Ziyad Samedzade in the development of economic science and his 80th birthday. Proceeding from this, based on the decision of the Science Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, the Organizing Committee and Editorial Board for holding scientific session were established under the chairmanship of the Director of the Institute of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) (Deputy Chairman - Sakit Yagubov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of UNEC, Professor, responsible secretary - Tanriverdi Pasha - leading researcher of the Institute of Economics of ANAS).
Papers and abstracts submitted to the conference will be published as a book.
Sections of the conference:
- Theoretical and methodological issues of sustainable development
- Azerbaijan's economic development model
- Economic growth and social well-being in Azerbaijan
- Directions of development of the post-oil economy
- Economic revitalization of Karabakh
- State regulation of economy in Azerbaijan (fiscal and monetary regulation, investment and innovation policy, agrarian policy and food security, demographic policy)
- Improvement of the sectoral and territorial structure of the economy
Papers and abstracts for inclusion in the book compiled from the materials of the international conference should be sent to the employee of the Institute of Economics of ANAS Tanriverdi Pasha ([email protected]; [email protected]) in Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish or one of the English languages until July 15, 2021.
Authors will be informed of acceptance of their papers in advance.
Paper and abstract formatting guidelines
- The title of papers, abstracts, author's name, academic degree, position, place of work, contact phone number and e-mail address should be submitted separately.
2 The text should be written in Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 spacing, 1.25 spacing, with margins (25 mm on the left, 10 mm on the right, 20 mm on the top and 20 mm on the bottom).
- Author's surname and initials - in bold type, the title of the report - in large bold type; the name of the organization should be written in regular type.
- Length of presentation in the form of paper should be 6-10 pages. An "Abstract", "Conclusion", "List of references" should be added to the papers. References in the text should be written in the following form: [3] or [3; 6; 8].
- Abstracts should not exceed 3 pages.
The Organizing Committee may not accept papers that do not correspond to the theme of the Conference, do not meet the requirements and are not considered relevant.
