In the landscape of growing threat of cybercrime further exacerbated by COVID-19 pandemic, CERTs/CSIRTs (Computer Emergency/Computer Security Incident Response Teams) have an important role in preventing cyber-attacks and in coordinating the technical response at national level.
An online seminar on "Development of Standard Operating Procedures for Cooperation between CSIRTs and Law Enforcement of Azerbaijan" is planned to be held on 1-3 March 2021 within the framework of the CyberEast and CyberSecurity EAST projects with the financial support of the European Union.
The event will be attended by the following participants: international experts on cybercrime and electronic evidence, international experts on cybersecurity and CSIRT matters, cybercrime investigators/law enforcement, CSIRT/national CERT experts; representatives of the national Internet industry (where deemed necessary), C-PROC staff.
The program for the event includes such topics as Common taxonomy for CSIRTs and law enforcement; Incident and crime reporting systems; Interaction and information flow across CSIRTs, law enforcement and judiciary; Cross-sharing threat and criminal intelligence, etc.
