| Basic scientific achievements | We have investigated mathematical models of liquid-liquid interface motion processes in porous media and control of production and operational planning at oilfields; we proposed numerical methods of solution to optimal control problems that arise in problems of operational technological control of oil production processes when optimizing the operating modes of oil wells and of well clusters, as well as the pattern of well spacing. We have investigated feedback control problems in nonlinear systems with lumped parameters, as well as in systems with distributed parameters by the example of parabolic systems of first-, second-, and third-order differential equations, as well as developed numerical methods of solution to these problems and the corresponding software. We have also investigated the following inverse problems, obtained theoretical results and carried out numerical experiments: a) numerical solution to the problem of identification of the hydraulic resistance coefficient for the fluid motion in an unsteady condition; b) inverse problem for nonlinear systems with distributed parameters. We have developed both interactive and automatic systems of control of unconstrained optimization package with the application of parallel computations on the base of multicore and multiprocessor computational systems. | |
