Main scientific achievements	1. A number of problems of optimal control of transient processes have been solved. 2. Recurrence formulas for calculating the optimal control and the optimal trajectory have been found. 3. The mathematical model of nonlinear, elastic vibrations across the drill pipe string has been constructed in the form of the Euler-Lagrange equation. 4. An elementary segment of the nonlinear heat transfer equation for an ideal polytropic gas has been given. 5. Some new solutions to this equation have been found.
