Main research areas | Developing mathematical models, methods and information technologies for solving control problems in emergency situations. |
Main scientific achievements | - A mathematical methodology for identifying and classifying emergency situations by cause-effect and spatial-temporal characteristics has been developed for the first time, a description of an emergency situation as a control object in the risk zone has been given; - Mathematical models, methods and new information technologies for solving problems of adaptive management in emergency situations have been developed; - The technology of creating a database for certification of potentially hazardous objects has been developed; - A new methodology has been developed for identifying cause-and-effect relationships between random factors that caused an accident, assessing the emergence of accident risks and modeling processes with instantaneous changes and thereby maximizing the safety of environmentally hazardous facilities; - Algorithms for solving forecasting problems for accident monitoring have been developed; - Combination models of selective and hybrid types for forecasting by the nearest-neighbor method by preliminary clustering of time series have been developed; - Mathematical models of the spread of pollutants in the air and water environment have been developed; - Displaying the processes of development of an emergency situation in the form of directional multigraph, reflecting the alternatives of the manifestation of destructive effects and the implementation of protective actions; - Expression of the main control problems in emergency situations and their decomposition in the form of a hierarchical system of operational control loops; - A mathematical model of water resources management under uncertainty; - A mathematical model for building an ecological model of a gas hazardous enterprise; - An analytical formula for calculating the speed and maximum distance of the flight of combustible particles has been presented; - A robust method for solving the problem of minimizing the risks of anthropogenic impact has been proposed; - A numerical modeling method for the simulation of the air flow movement in the underground metro facilities in the event of a fire has been developed; - A mathematical model of ecological processes in war zones has been developed. |
