Main research areas - Identification methods and control systems;
- Mathematical modeling of technical systems and technological processes;
- Methods of signal recognition and technical diagnostics systems;
- Development of new generation intelligent robust monitoring, diagnostics, forecasting and control systems.
Main scientific achievements Development of algorithms and software systems for monitoring, diagnostics, forecasting and control of technical objects:

- Development of software for robust monitoring, diagnostics and control systems for oil production enterprises;
- Development of software for robust information system of forecasting of vibration state and possible accidents of compressor units;
- Development of the software complex of the RNM ASP stations network based on the robust noise monitoring technologies for monitoring of the anomalous seismic processes in the region;
- Development of a mathematical model of temperature distribution in vertical and horizontal pipes in oil production wells;
- Development of a model for determining the instantaneous output of sucker-rod pumping units on the basis of RNM technologies;
- Development of a model for diagnosing the technical condition of sucker-rod pumping units on the basis of the distribution function of dynamometer charts and a method of diagnostics in field conditions;
- Development of methods, technology and algorithms for identifying the signals of dynamometer charts on the basis of RNM technologies.
