The "Karabakh Heroes" Fund will be established in the Central Scientific Library

Along with the work done in the direction of innovative service to the science of Azerbaijan, the Central Scientific Library of ANAS has always taken important steps in this direction, always glorifying the culture, history and heroic traditions of our people.

As a continuation of the work done, for the first time in the library system of Azerbaijan, the "Karabakh Heroes" Fund will be established in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.

The fund will collect books, articles, interviews, photos, TV programs, documentaries and feature films dedicated to the First and Second Karabakh Wars. Also, publications dedicated to this topic will be included in the fund and made available to readers in the future. At the same time, books from the personal libraries of the martyred sons of Azerbaijan who took part in the war will be exhibited in the fund.

The main purpose of establishing the fund is to systematically collect and protect documents dedicated to the Karabakh conflict, which has lasted for almost 30 years.

It should be noted that the new fund will be headed by Roksana Safarzadeh, the sister of Azerbaijani Army Colonel Babek Samidli, who bravely took part in the Second Karabakh War and was killed by a landmine in the direction of Sugovushan on November 23, 2020.
