The monograph is devoted to the study of a class of discrete optimal control problems described by two-dimensional systems, which are a discrete analogue of the Goursat-Darboux systems. In the considered problems, various first- and second-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are found. In the general nonlinear case, sufficient optimality conditions of the Krotov type are obtained. The monograph is useful for researchers in the field of the theory of optimal control quality, in particular, discrete optimal control problems.
