A meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Cybernetics was held

A meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Cybernetics was held on 05.03.2012. The main issue on the agenda of the meeting was the nomination of scientists of the Institute of Cybernetics for election to full and corresponding membership of ANAS. Extensive discussions were held on this issue.

First, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Prof. A.H.Hajiyev was nominated for to full membership of ANAS in mechanics. I.A.Ibrahimov, T.A.Aliev, M.A.Guliyev, K.R.Aydazade and others commended A.H.Hajiyev as a worthy candidate. All members of the Science Council voted in favor of A.H.Hajiyev.

Then, Doctor of Engineering, Professor O.G. Nusratov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Professor K.R. Aydazade and Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Professor K.B. Mansimov were nominated for corresponding membership of ANAS in the specialty "Informatics". T.A.Aliev, A.H.Hajiyev, M.A.Guliyev, A.Z.Melikov, T.H.Nasirova noted that O.G.Nusratov, K.R.Aidazade and K.B.Mansimov are worthy candidates for corresponding membership of ANAS. All members of the Council voted in favor of the candidacy of O.G. Nusratov, K.R. Aydazade and K.B. Mansimov.

Employees of the Institute of Cybernetics Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Prof. T.H. Nasirova, Prof. V.R. Ibrahimov and E.N. Mahmudov were nominated for election as corresponding members in mathematics. T.A.Aliev, A.G.Hajiyev, A.Z.Melikov, M.A.Guliyev, Y.Hasanli, K.R.Aydazade noted that T.H.Nasirova, V.R.Ibrahimov and E.N.Mahmudov are worthy candidates and their nomination were unanimously approved.
