Members of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) and other employees of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS visited the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Day of Nationwide Sorrow, January 20. They laid carnations to the graves as a sign of deep respect and reverence for the innocently murdered sons and daughters of the nation. The employees of the ICS also paid their respects to the memory of the martyrs who died in the Patriotic War.

One of the most brutal and dreadful crimes against humanity, January 20, is remembered in the history of the Azerbaijani people not only with pain and bitterness, but also as a day of honor. On that day, the Azerbaijani people rallied against the Soviet army and showed their courage. These very events proved that the Azerbaijani people is determined to fight for the restoration of violated rights, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
