A seminar of the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences (RACEF) was held in Barcelona on June 7-8, 2022. The seminar was devoted to the analysis of humanity's environmental problems in the fight against climate change and the ways to solve them stemming from the postulates of economics.

At the seminar, Gorkhmaz Imanov, Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Control Systems, Corresponding Member of ANAS, foreign member of RACEF, made a presentation on "Aтn analytical approach to the assessment of the level of ecological civilization of a country". The scientist pointed out that this concept covers economic, social and ecological indicators and is aimed at global ecological civilization and sustainable development.

Speaking in his presentation about the method of assessing the ecological civilization level index (ECLI), G. Imanov cited 25 specific indicators relating to its sub-indices, such as the quality of green economy, social quality and environmental quality.

G. Imanov spoke about algorithms based on intuitionistic fuzzy methods of calculating the ECLI, and said that this approach would allow to develop a general methodology for the index assessment.
