Quarterfinals of the IV Football Championship among young scientists and specialists

On 2 May 2017, two matches were played in the quarterfinals of the IV Football Championship among young scientists and specialists devoted to the 94thbirthday anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS. The results of the two matches revealed the remaining of the four teams that made it to the semifinals of the Championship. The team of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics defeated the team of the Institute of Physics with the score 7–1, and the team of the Institute of Geography defeated the team of the Institute of Radiation Problems with the score 20–6, entering the semifinals.

The semifinals will be held on 5 May: the match between the teams of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics and the Institute of Economics will be played at 2 p.m., and the match between the teams of the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Control Systems at 3 p.m.
