"Azerbaijani scientific journals: improvement aimed at the international level” training seminar for editors of scientific journals published in Azerbaijan was held by leading science and intellectual property specialists at Fairmont Hotel on 8 November 2016. The seminar was organized by Thomson Reuters and the Science Development Fund. Successful formation of scientific journals at the modern international level, introducing scientific publications in developed countries at the international level, improving the quality of scientific works, maximizing the references to scientific journals and scientific works in reference bases were discussed at the event. In addition to that, development trends of scientific journals in developing countries were discussed and information about the optimization of working with international databases was given.
Head of Laboratory 1.8 "Methods for real-time analysis of
non-stationary processes” of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS Tahir Alizada, PhD in Engineering, also participated in the seminar and received a certificate.
Training seminars are to be held on a regular basis.
