Project Olympiad in Informatics POI-2016 took place at Qafqaz University

On 11 June 2016, Project Olympiad in Informatics POI-2016 took place at Qafqaz University.
The Olympiad was held with the support of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of AR, Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS and Istek lyceum.
At the opening ceremony, the guests were greeted by the prorector for public relations of Qafqaz University Dr. Natig Pasha, who spoke about the importance of the event and stressed that the exhibited projects were steps towards great discoveries.
Deputy Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS Rashid Alekperov in his speech said that despite being a young science, informatics plays a special part in the development of all areas of human activity worldwide.
Assoc.Prof. Ramin Makhmudzade of the Baku State University, Assoc.Prof. Samir Rustamov, PhD in Engineering, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Control Systems, Dean Khalil Ismayilov of Qafqaz University also spoke at the ceremony, pointing out the importance of the project and the contribution of the olympiad in the development of informatics in our country.
Authors of the projects that took places at the final round of the olympiad received valuable prizes and certificates.
