Academician Asaf Hajiyev visited China at the invitation of Sichuan (Chengdu) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Academician Asaf Hajiyev, Head of Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, visited China at the invitation of Sichuan (Chengdu) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 25-30 September 2017.
On 26-27 September, Acad. Asaf Hajiyev delivered a lecture at Sichuan University, presenting the latest results in the field of probability theory.
On 28-29 September, Asaf Hajiyev spoke at the 2nd meeting of the International Development Strategy Advisory Council, of which he is a member.
The International Development Strategy Advisory Council was founded in 2016 and it consists of 50 reknown scientists from 20 countries (USA, Canada, Korea, Italy, Japan, Azerbaijan, etc.). The purpose of the Council is to support the development of science and education in China, expand international scientific relations in line with the global standards and to turn the Sichuan University, one of the leading universities in China, into one of the world's leading universities.
On 29 September, Acad. Asaf Hajiyev was elected Senior Advisor to the Committee on Talent Development Strategy of the Sichuan University.
On 30 September, Asaf Hajiyev spoke at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on the effectiveness of stochastic criteria and the latest results obtained in this field.
