A seminar was held on the rules of using the Clarivate Analytics database

A seminar on the rules of using the Clarivate Analytics database with the participation of Irina Tikhonkova (Head of the editorial board of the journal Biopolymer and Cell, senior research fellow of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) took place on 2-3 May 2018 in the Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The event was opened with welcome speeches by Vice President of ANAS, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev, executive director of the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Elchin Babayev, Clarivate Analytics representative in Azerbaijan Aygun Babazade. During the seminar the participants got acquainted with the rules of using the Clarivate Analytics database, downloading articles and journals, the rules of using the search engine, etc. Then Irina Tikhonkova answered the questions of the seminar participants. The seminar was attended by the employees of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Head of Department No 6 "Scientific and technical information and patent research", PhD in Engineering, Assoc.Prof. Rena Asadova and the research officer of Department No 5 "Foreign relations and innovations" Valeriya Pushnova.
