Academician Asaf Hajiyev was on scientific trip at the invitation of the Sichuan University (China)

Head of Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Acad. Asaf Hajiyev visited China at the invitation of Sichuan University on 11-15 September 2018.
On 12 September, Asaf Hajiyev made a presentation on "Fundamentals of Stochastic Financial Mathematics" at Sichuan University.
On 13-14 September, Asaf Hajiyev participated in the Third Plenary Session of the First International Advisory Council of Sichuan University, of which he is a member.
The First International Advisory Council of Sichuan University was established in 2016 and consists of about 40 leading scholars and scientists from across the globe. The board includes 3 Nobel laureates, researchers from Harvard, Berkeley, MIT and other well-known science centers. The purpose of the Council is to develop a plan of action and to put Sichuan University, the leading university in China, into the ranks of leading world universities.
Asaf Hajiyev spoke on the problems facing modern science and the measures necessary for their solution, as well as the recent ANAS reforms.
At the meeting, Asaf Hajiyev met with the Nobel Prize laureate, MIT professor S.Chao Chung Ting and discussed the challenges facing modern science.
