In 2024, scientists of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan have successfully conducted research at various stages in key research areas and achieved a number of important scientific results.
One of the important scientific results obtained in the direction of theoretical and applied control problems were the scientific results obtained by Corresponding Member of ANAS, Prof. Kamil Ayda- zade, Prof. Vagif Abdullayev, DSc in Mathematics, Associate Professor Yegyana Ashrafova, DSc in Mathematics, and Associate Professor Anar Rahimov, DSc in Mathematics.
In the course of the research, computer software was developed and many computer experiments were conducted.
In practice, such issues arise in the management of hydrocarbon transportation processes through complex pipeline networks, in the management of oil production regimes in wells taking into account the processes of underground filtration of hydrocarbons, in the monitoring and management of regional environmental conditions and in other applied problems.
The results of the work have been published in 6 impact-factor journals included in the Web of Science database and 2 journals included in the Scopus database.
