80th birthday anniversary of Professor Nihan Aliyev

Baku State University (BSU) held an event dedicated to the 80th birthday anniversary of the leading researcher of the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Professor Nihan Aliyev. Director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics, academician Fikrat Aliyev told the guests about the scientist’s life, his rich scientific and educational activities.

Employees of the Institute of Control Systems, Head of “Numerical decision-making methods in deterministic systems” Laboratory, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aydazade Kamil and Head of “Mathematical control problems” Laboratory, Professor Ilgar Mammadov spoke at the event, offering their congratulation to N. Aliyev, speaking of him as of a person of best human qualities and sharing good memories of him.

In conclusion, Professor Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
