Webinar “Next Step in Your Education” was held

A webinar “Next Step in Your Education” organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on April 6, 2025. The webinar was attended by doctoral students and dissertationists of various universities and ANAS, members of the CYSS, as well as Master's students and applicants preparing to enter the doctoral program.

Chair of CYSS ICS junior researcher Lamiya Najafova talked about the importance of scientific activity, provided the participants with detailed information about the training and wished them new scientific successes.

Then, Elshan Bagirov, a dissertation student of the Institute of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a data science expert, spoke about the rules of admission to doctoral and dissertation programs and the requirements specified in the legislation.

The webinar also featured presentations by AzTU and BSU faculty member Nurdan Asadova on the philosophy curriculum used for admission to doctoral programs and qualifying exams, BSU faculty member and English language teacher Ilaha Iskenderova on English language, Deputy Chair of CYSS ICS researcher Rustam Azimov on the difficulties encountered in defending a dissertation for a PhD degree and the main issues in the process of writing a dissertation.

At the end of the webinar, the presented topics were discussed and questions of the participants were answered.
