"Science Week" kicked off

On March 11, the opening ceremony of the "Science Week" started at ANAS High Technologies Park.
The ceremony was attended by scientists and specialists from relevant state agencies and scientific research institutes of ANAS, as well as students from higher education institutions.
Initially, HT Park Director, PhD in economy Nazim Shukurov expressed his confidence that the holding of such events would further increase the importance of science in the country.
Then director of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, academician Telman Aliyev made a speech. He noted that achievements in the Azerbaijani science will be discussed during the "Science Week" and the current problems will be remembered.
Noting that large investments have been made in science in developed countries, the scientist said that science is one of the most profitable areas in modern times. He noted that today the Azerbaijani state attaches special importance to the commercialization of science and takes serious measures in this direction.
Later, academician T. Aliyev highlighted the main directions of the institute. He noted that it includes the study of methods of mathematical modeling, identification and optimization of technological processes, intelligent decision-making technologies and systems studying of various level and purpose intelligent mechatronic systems.
In his speech, the scientist also spoke about the "Siberian Power" (Sila Siberian) project, which supplies Russian gas to the People's Republic of China. He noted that the system of diagnostics and management of the "Robust Noise Monitoring" ensures the safety of the "Siberian Power" main gas pipeline built by the Russian state. The first gas export to China is expected to be implemented this year.
Then, Asif Rzayev, head of Control, diagnostics and management system for oil extracting facilities, PhD in Technics, made a report.
The speaker also presented a scheme for operational management of the oil production process with the introduction of innovative technologies.
A.Rzayev also made presentations on "Smart artesian" pilot project and "Production of electric energy saving equipment - speed converters at ANAS High Technology Park".
Then, the participants exchanged views on the reports and answered numerous questions.
