On September 25, the meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was held.
At the meeting of the Presidium, the election results for the posts of directors of ANAS research institutions were approved. Academician Nazim Mammadov was approved as a director of the Institute of Physics, academician Telman Aliyev - Institute of Control Systems, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov - Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, academician Rasim Aliguliev - Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov - Institute of Biophysics, academician Dilgam Tagiyev - Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Academician Vagif Farzaliev - Institute of Additive Chemistry, Academician Akif Alizade - Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Dr. Biology Ulduz Hashimova - Institute of Physiology, Dr. Biology Vahid Farzaliev - Central Botanical Garden, academician Isa Habibbeyli - Institute of Literature, academician Teymur Karimli - Institute of Manuscripts, academician Rafael Huseynov - National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, Dr. Philology Gulbaniz Babakhanly - House Museum of Huseyn Javid, academician Govhar Bakhshalieva - Institute of Oriental Studies, Dr. Philosophy Ilham Mammadzadeh - Institute of Philosophy and Academician Naila Valikhanli - National Museum of Azerbaijan History.
By another decree, PhD in Physics Yashar Huseynaliev was appointed director of the Scientific and Production Association "Composite" ANAS.
