Invention of Azerbaijani scientists: heart problems will be detected by means of mobile phones

For the first time in the world the incubation period of the pathological processes in the cardiovascular system will be detected through mobile phones in Azerbaijan, director of Cybernetics Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Telman Aliev said.

He said the institute worked out theoretical principles of the noise analysis and robust program device ensuring the monitoring the incubation period of the pathological processes in the cardiovascular system. By the end of this year the mobile phones will make it available to monitor the incubation period of the cardiovascular diseases or observe the change of dynamics in such persons.

Director of the institute said talks were not held with the mobile operators for the implementation of the project.

"First, we want to demonstrate this project. Foreign countries are also interested in this project. UK, Spain, Poland have already offered joint cooperation. We can demonstrate it through mobile phones in October-November,” he said.

Telman Aliev said this monitoring is not diagnostics. "The monitoring will only show the start of the process in the persons having cardiovascular problems. The doctor will make the diagnosis. It will not replace the doctor,” he said.

Telman Aliev said the invention is based on the theory of noise analysis and technology of monitoring of incubation period. It has been confirmed with Eurasian patent and the results published in the famous magazines.
