A HORIZON 2020 seminar was held at AzTU

An educational seminar on HORIZON 2020, the EU Research and Innovation Program, was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) on 11 December 2019.
Vice Rector of AzTU Subkhan Namazov spoke about the areas of the research activity of the university and the potential of its scientists. The Vice Rector emphasized the importance of the HORIZON 2020 program for Azerbaijani scientists and specialists.
Esmira Alirzayeva, Head of the International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS, spoke about the next stage of the EC Framework Horizon Europe, its prospects and innovations for the Eastern Partnership countries.
Further, NCPs Tofig Babayev (Head of the Foreign Relations and Innovations Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Legal & Financial NCP of HORIZON 2020, eTrade expert in the EU4Digital project), Rovshan Keremov, Ilham Gumbatov and Zaur Hasanov provided detailed information on the components of the HORIZON 2020 program and answered the participants' questions.
The projects, goals, rules of participation and financial conditions of the program were discussed at the seminar.
The seminar was attended by the faculty, deans and heads of departments of AzTU.
