Ilham Aliyev’s instructive historical lesson and diplomatic message

Panel discussions at the Munich Security Conference became an important platform for a more powerful expression of the statement that Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan. The following words of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan objectively reflect the historical reality of Nagorno-Karabakh: “Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. This is a historical truth based on international law. Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity is recognized by the international community. Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of our country. ” In our opinion, we need to put a full stop at the end of this objective statement next time.

Our head of state continues to win approval for our people and country with his special intelligence, strong logic and a clear diplomatic position at every international events. The perception and position expressed by President Ilham Aliyev in the dialogue with the Armenian side at the Munich Security Conference also stirs excitement in the heart of every citizen of Azerbaijan. Nikol Pashinyan's position raises a serious question not only about the legal status of Nagorno-Karabakh, but also about the future of Armenia.
