ANAS President signed Coronavirus Preventive Measures

ANAS President academician Ramiz Mehdiyev signed a decree “On preventive measures related to the coronavirus in ANAS”.

According to the decree, the heads of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS were instructed to restrict various mass events in the absence of serious need, to limit official business trips of employees to countries where coronavirus is common, to regularly sanitize and disinfect in the corresponding administrative buildings of ANAS, and to apply preferential conditions to attendance of employees’ retirement age. The document also reflected the relevant instructions on restricting employees with flu-like symptoms from entering work, conducting educational activities for their immediate referral to a doctor, applying an additional preferential attendance regimen, as well as conducting preliminary medical examinations that will detect cases of influenza infection at the entrances to corresponding administrative buildings of ANAS.

The document also reflected the organization of speeches by relevant specialists of the ANAS Department of Biological and Medical Sciences in the media about methods of protection against coronavirus, as well as the publication of educational materials on this subject.

In addition, the establishment of a medical center in the building of the Presidium of ANAS was entrusted.
