Two vaccines for coronavirus infection have begun their final stages of clinical trials in the United States. This was announced by President Donald Trump.

According to him, earlier it took years to create and test vaccines, but now everything has been achieved in a short time. He noted that four more candidate vaccines will soon join the two vaccines.

"The first confirmed vaccines will be approved immediately," the president said.

He also said that the country has selected specialists who will deal with the delivery of serums.

The United States is currently the leader in the number of people infected with COVID-19 and deaths from the virus. Of the 14.7 million cases in the world, more than 3.8 million cases are in the United States. At the same time, more than 141 thousand people died in the country after being infected with coronavirus (total in the world 611 thousand deaths).
