The research paper "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies in Managing the Sustainable Quality of Life of the Country", by the Head of the Laboratory of Fuzzy Models of Economics at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Professor Gorkhmaz Imanov, and Asif Aliyev, PhD in Economics, received high praise from the leadership of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. A letter addressed to the institute noted that this study on a relevant topic logically aligns with global discourse on the formation and modeling of the "sustainable quality of life" (SQOLI) indicator in Azerbaijan.
It was noted that methodologically, the study used integrated AI tools, such as large language models (LLMs), principal component analysis (PCA), support vector regression (SVR), fuzzy logic, and Fuzzy k-NN in combination with classical statistics. The components of the discussed SQOLI can be easily correlated with the goals and indicators currently used in state programs and strategies.
It was stated that the aforementioned research could be useful as both a methodological and a specific digital basis for the analytical analysis, proposals, and recommendations put forward by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) in the monitoring and evaluation process of the "Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026," as well as the strategy being developed for 2027-2030.
