A device has been developed in Turkey to detect the coronavirus for 10 seconds

Turkish scientists have developed a device that detects a new type of coronavirus infection in ten seconds.

This was reported on the website of Bilkent University.

The principle of operation of the device, called "Diagnovir", is based on optical properties, not on the repetition of samples.

For the test, a sample is taken from the oral mucosa, then mixed with a special liquid and placed in the device. Pathogens are detected dynamically within 10 seconds by receiving a fluorescent signal.
