A meeting was held in connection with the implementation of the eCommerce pilot project within the EC EU4Digital initiative in Azerbaijan

An online meeting in connection with the implementation of the eCommerce pilot project within the EC EU4Digital initiative in Azerbaijan was held on 18 February 2021.

The meeting was attended by V. Kovalenko, eCommerce Project Manager at the EU4Digital coordinator Ernst & Young (E&Y), Walter Trezek, Universal Postal Union expert, Aykhan Gadashov, Director of AZEXPORT.AZ portal, and  Tofig Babayev, Head of Foreign Relations and Innovation Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, eTrade expert of the eCommerce EU4Digital project.

The participants discussed the placement of a list of goods on the portal AZEXPORT.AZ for B2C trade with European buyers and the forms and standards to be used in the exchange of information between AZERPOST and the German Post. An agreement was reached to carry out a TEST information exchange.
The implementation of the pilot project is scheduled for April of this year.
