A meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists dedicated to the Science Day was held

An online meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists devoted to the Science Day was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS. The seminar was attended by members of the CYSS, representatives of education and public relations departments, as well as invited guests.

The event was moderated by Aygun Aliyeva, PhD (Econ), Head of the Public Relations Department of the ICS. A. Aliyeva congratulated the participants on this significant day and stressed that the establishment of the Science Day opens up wide opportunities for involving young people in science and popularizing scientific achievements.

Opening the meeting, the chairman of the CYSS of the Institute, Rashad Mastaliyev, PhD (Math), said that the establishment of the Science Day by the order of the President coincided with the establishment of ANAS and noted its special significance. R. Mastaliyev informed the participants about the “V International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers” dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Deputy Chairperson of the CYSS, junior researcher Lamia Najafova spoke about the responsibility of youth to contribute to the development of science, stressing that ANAS is the main center of fundamental scientific research in the country. Speaking about the important role of the energy factor, L. Najafova informed the participants about her research work.

Then one of the invited participants, a doctoral student of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Elnur Sadigov made a presentation on data management. He noted the importance of data management in the flow of information in our time and talked about the latest scientific innovations in this area.

Then the speeches were made by Professor Ilgar Mammadov, DSc (Math), Associate Professor Anar Rahimov, ICS Master's students Punar Guliyeva and Rustam Azimov, who shared their opinions and suggestions with the participants.

In conclusion, Rashad Mastaliyev congratulated the participants on the Science Day and wished them success in their further endeavors.
