A meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Cybernetics was held on November 30, 2011. In accordance with the first issue of the agenda of the Science Council meeting, Academic Secretary Azizova Z. provided the Council members with extensive information about the postgraduate students admitted to the postgraduate program of the Institute, their scores, specialties, scientific supervisors, dissertation topics. Then the Deputy Director for Science, Doctor of Engineering, Professor O.G. Nusratov spoke about the important results obtained by the scientists of the Institute of Cybernetics in 2011.

Then the discussion of annual reports began. First, the Director of the Institute, Head of Laboratory No. 1 "Identification Technologies", Academician T.A. Aliev reported on the research work carried out in the laboratory in 2011. He started his report by showing the footage shot and broadcasted by TV channels "MIR" and "TRT" about the "Regional seismic-acoustic noise analysis intelligent telemetry system" created by them.
