The East-West Transport Corridor is an integral part of the former Silk Road and an initiative requiring the development of new mechanisms for regional economic cooperation. It strengthens economic development, cultural exchange and communication among member countries.
The East-West Corridor, an integral part of the "One Belt, One Road" concept, aims to improve trade routes, transportation and economic corridors, and create new trade routes. The East-West Transport Corridor is also considered the shortest trade route connecting Europe and China.
The new geopolitical situation in the region has led to the creation of new transport corridors in the East-West transport corridor and the involvement of new countries,
Located at the crossroads of North-South and East-West transport corridors, Azerbaijan is further increasing its importance as an international trade and logistics center.
The main aim of the conference is to bring together representatives of research institutes, universities, international organizations, public and private sectors to discuss scientific and practical issues in the supply chain of cargo transportation along the East-West transport corridor. Given the opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the application of digital technologies and digital economy can be widely used to address these challenges.
We invite representatives of government agencies, business, education and scientific community to participate in the international scientific and practical conference.
