The East-West Transport Corridor is an integral part of the ancient Silk Road and an initiative that requires the development of new mechanisms for regional economic partnership. It stimulates economic development, cultural exchange and communication between the member countries.
As an integral part of the Belt and Road Initiative, the East-West Transport Corridor aims to improve trade routes, transport and economic corridors and create new trade routes. The East-West Transport Corridor is also considered the shortest trade route connecting Europe and China.
The new geopolitical situation in the region increases the importance of Azerbaijan as an international trade and logistics center located at the crossroads of North-South and East-West transport corridors, contributing to the creation of new transport corridors in the East-West transport corridor, attracting new countries.
The main goal of the conference is to bring together representatives of research institutions, universities, international organizations, the public and private sectors to discuss scientific and practical issues in the supply chain for cargo transportation in the East-West transport corridor. Taking into account the potential of the 4th industrial revolution, digital technologies and the digital economy can be widely used to solve these problems.
We invite representatives of government agencies, business, education and the scientific community to participate in the international scientific and practical conference.
Working languages of the conference: Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
