International Conference on Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor continued its work
29.10.2021 / Conferences, assembliesAfter the opening ceremony on 27 October 2021, the plenary session of the International Conference on Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor was held in the second half of the day. The conference is organized jointly by the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS, Azerbaijan Technical University, Silesian University of Technology (Poland) and the Georgian Technical University.
The plenary session was moderated by Executive Director of ICS, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov.
Presentations were made by: Aleksander Sładkowski, Professor of the Silesian University of Technology - "Informing about the Achievements of Modern Transport in Scientific Journals and Conferences", Academician Telman Aliyev, Advisor to ANAS - "Algorithms and Intelligent Technologies for Improving the Adequacy of Monitoring and Diagnostics of the Beginning of the Latent Period and Dynamics of Development of Accidents on the Rolling Stock and Railroad Track ”, and Georgy Tumanishvili, representative of the Rafael Dvali Mechanical Engineering Institute - "Tribological Aspects of the Wheel and Rail Interaction."
Then the sessions of Sections #1 and #2 were held, chaired by Prof. Janusz Ćwiek and Dr. Asif Rzayev and Prof. Shakhnaz Shakhbazova and Prof. Kamily Ayda-zade, respectively.
The event continued on 28 October with a round table on Digital Transport Corridors moderated by Valery Virkovski, Chair of eLogistics and DTC Working Group, Software Applied Systems Institute of Belarus Ministry of Communication and Informatization. Vladimir Kovalenko, Valery Virkovsky, Yuri Paberyi, Vladimir Abramychev, Nikos Tsampieris, Dmitry Yakimenkov, Rišardas Bedulskis, Galina Roizina, Vytautas Vitkauskas, Walter Trezek, Samed Garalov, Khudayar Hasanli and Aikhan Gadashev spoke at the round table.
The round table was followed by the sessions of Section #1 chaired by Prof. Ramin Rzayev and Assoc. Prof. Elkhan Sabziev and Section #2 chaired by Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov and Assoc. Prof. Adalyat Pashayev.
At the end of the day, the closing ceremony of the conference was held, chaired by Aminaga Sadigov. Speaking on behalf of the administration of ICS, A. Sadigov thanked the Organizing Committee, partner organizations and invited guests for the organizational and technical support of the event, which was held in a hybrid format in a pandemic, and gave a high appraisal of the work of the conference.
