A meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Control Systems was held

A meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) on November 19, 2021. The event was attended by the administration of the institute, members of the CYSS, representatives of the Education Department and the Public Relations Department.

Opening the event, General Director of the ICS academician Ali Abbasov drew the participants' attention to the issues arising from the agenda. Noting that the purpose of the meeting was the elections to the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, A. Abbasov touched upon the importance of young human resources in our time and wished those present a successful meeting.

Then the Executive Director of the ICS Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov pointed out that youth is a leading force in various fields, especially in the development of science. Noting that young people are a majority at ANAS, A. Sadigov spoke about the important tasks to be solved, recommended young people to always be active and contribute to the development of the country. The scientist expressed his opinion about the candidates and wished them success.

On behalf of the administration of the ICS, A. Sadigov thanked Chair of the CYSS Rashad Mastaliyev, PhD (Mathematics), and Deputy Chairman Aygun Aliyeva, PhD (Economics), for their important contribution to the activities of the council, noting that they had always been an example for young people, and wished them success in their future activities.

Then Chair of the CYSS Rashad Mastaliyev said that the purpose of the meeting was to elect a new chair, deputy chairs and secretary of the council. R. Mastaliyev spoke about the work done during his tenure as Chair of the Council and wished success to the young people.

Aygun Aliyeva, Deputy Chair of the CYSS, Head of the Public relations Department of the ICS, said that training highly qualified young personnel is one of the requirements of our time. Speaking about the important tasks facing young people in the all-round development of Azerbaijan, Aliyeva spoke about various projects being implemented in this area in the ICS.

Providing detailed information about the candidates, A. Aliyeva gave a positive assessment of their activities and expressed confidence that the council would successfully continue its work.

Chair of the territorial organization of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Zulala Jabiyeva, Academic Secretary of the ICS Zahra Azizova and Head of the Education Department of the institute, Sevinj Guliyeva, PhD (Mathematics), expressed their opinions about the candidates. They talked about the patriotism, high knowledge and skills of these young people who are actively involved in the social work of the institute.

Thanking the participants of the meeting, researcher Seyyare Hidayatzade wished success to the candidates, saying that she had been working on her PhD dissertation and had voluntarily withdrawn her candidacy due to lack of time.

Then the members of the council exchanged views on the candidates, and by open vote junior researcher Lamia Najafova was elected Chair of the CYSS, senior specialist Narmin Abbaszadeh and senior laboratory assistant Rustam Azimov Deputy Chairs, junior researcher Rakhia Niyazova Secretary of the council.

Thanking the administration of the institute and members of the council for their trust, Lamia Najafova noted that Azerbaijan had gone through an important historical and political period, stressed the importance of the role of youth in this period and expressed confidence that the council will continue its activities.

At the end of the event, A. Sadigov congratulated the elected candidates and wished them success in their future endeavors.
