A regular meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS was held on November 30, 2021.

 

The meeting was attended by the administration of the institute, members of the Science Council, employees of laboratories and departments.

 

Opening the meeting, Director General of ICS Academician Ali Abbasov informed the participants about the issues on the agenda.

 

Then the annual reports on on scientific and scientific-organizational activities in 2021 were presented by Laboratory of methods of development of technical means of control systems, Laboratory of modeling of technical objects and processes, Laboratory of intelligent  diagnostics and control systems of oil and gas facilities, Laboratory of intelligent information processing systems, Laboratory of methods of recognition and intelligent analysis of signals, Laboratory of modeling and control of continuous processes and  Public relations department. Then the council members asked their questions, extensive discussions were held, and the reports were positively evaluated.

 

Then the members of the council discussed the election of the heads of the relevant laboratories and departments, as well as other personnel issues of the ICS, held a vote and made appropriate decisions. It was decided to submit a petition to the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences (DPMTS) regarding the election results.

 

In conclusion, General Director of the institute Academician Ali Abbasov summed up the results of the meeting, positively assessed the reports and gave specific instructions on the implementation of the main objectives.
