Corresponding Member of ANAS Agasi Melikov spoke at an international conference
07.12.2021 / Conferences, assembliesThe 20th International Conference named after A.F. Terpugov INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND MATHEMATICAL MODELING (ITMM-2021) was held in Tomsk, Russia, on December 1-5, 2021.
Corresponding Member of ANAS Prof. Agasi Melikov, DSc (Engineering), presented his paper "Queuing systems with positive and negative replenishment policies" at the conference and was awarded a certificate of attendance.
The paper proposes Markov models of infinite buffering queueing systems that use three known replenishment strategies. Unlike classical models, there are types of requests here that do not require inventory during servicing, but when they enter the system, some of the inventory is instantly destroyed. After servicing is complete, some requests leave the system without having received inventory. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the ergodicity of Markov chains, which are mathematical models of the systems under study, are found, their stationary distributions are calculated, and formulas are proposed for determining the characteristics of the systems under study. The problem of minimizing the general penalties arising during the operation of the systems under study is solved.
