Head of the Laboratory of mathematical analysis of control in physical, biological and economic processes of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS), Ilgar Mammadov, DSc (Mathematics), has been elected a member of the editorial board of American Journal of Applied Mathematics published by Science Publishing Group in the USA.

American Journal of Applied Mathematics is an interdisciplinary journal containing research articles that treat scientific problems using methods that are of mathematical interest. The editorial board of the journal consists of scientists from different countries, including researchers from a number of leading states such as the United States and China.
