
The 8th World Conference on Soft Computing continues

The 8th World Conference on Soft Computing, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth and scientific legacy of the world-famous scientist Lotfi Zadeh, continued its work on February 4, 2022 with a plenary session and parallel sections after the opening ceremony.
The event included parallel sections Soft Computing Logic Aggregation, Intelligent methods and Fuzzy approach, Probabilistic Uncertainty, and Fuzzy Control Systems. In the above sections there were presented about 20 scientific reports of such scientists as J. Dujmovic, K. Kapre, I. Ameer, M. Arif, G. Sidorov, V.M. Palma, A. Gelbukh, G. Sidorov, M. Svitek, O. Kosheleva, S. Shahbazova, V. Kreinovich, J. Kondratenko, O. Skakodub, etc. Presentations covering various areas included "Mental Illness Classification on Social Media Texts using Deep Learning and Transfer Learning," "Analysis of Fake News Detection Methods," and others.
Then at the plenary session with participation of Professors T. Yamnoi, I. Rudas, I. Batyrshin, A. Gadzhiev, V. Stefanyuk and A. Averkin, papers "Explainable Similarity Correlation of Categorical Data and Bar Chart", "Mathematical modeling of Distributed Memory", "Kolmogorov Stories" and others were presented.
The conference will continue its work on February 5.
