The 8th World Conference on Soft Computing, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth and scientific legacy of the world-famous scientist Lotfi Zadeh, continued its work on February 5, 2022 with the plenary session "Fuzzy Logic and Soft Computing, Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies" and parallel sections after the opening ceremony.

 

At the plenary session, papers on such topics as "Optimization of Type-2 Fuzzy Systems: Theory and Applications", "Advanced Aspects in Multidisciplinary Soft Computing and Applications", "AI, Deep Learning and Deep Fuzzy Network" and others were presented and extensive discussions were held. V. Kreinovich, O. Castillo, T. Yamnoi, A. Averkin, Sh. Shakhbazova and other scientists took part in the discussions.

 

Parallel sections "Fuzzy Logic and sets", "Fuzzy simulation", "Fuzzy recognition" and "Fuzzy Logic and applications" were held. Around 20 papers were presented by A.Pashayev, B.Ibrahimov, Ab.Rzayev, N.Agayev, H.Jafarova, A.Hasanov and other scientists at the sections.
