The finalists of the "Scientists of Tomorrow" competition conducted the final test of the submitted project at the Institute of Control Systems
14.02.2022 /The Republican competition "Scientists of Tomorrow" for students of IX-XI grades of secondary schools began its work today. It should be noted that the contest has been held since 2012 with the organizational support of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan.
The team of secondary school #189-190 taking part in the final stage of the contest which will be held on February 14-21, 2022 is headed by Associate Professor Fakhrad Pashayev, DSc in Engineering, Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS. Students Ramil Tagiyev and Zia Sadigzade visited ICS to complete the final preparations for the project.
The students presenting the project "Transmission and reception of encrypted data by means of radio modem" at the contest stressed the importance of wide use of modern intelligent information technologies by the Azerbaijani army during the 44-day war and expressed their intention to contribute to future studies in this field. It was mentioned that the project involved data encryption, its transmission via RFD-900+ radio modem, reception on another computer with a similar radio modem, decryption and displaying on the screen. A special algorithm was developed in the process. After providing detailed information about the project, the students talked about the fields of application of the results obtained.
During the meeting, the team' s research supervisor Fakhrad Pashayev discussed with the students the progress of the project, voiced his opinion and recommendations, and wished them success.
