
Valuable scientist Rena Asadova celebrated her 60th birthday

On January 25, 2022, Associate Professor Rena Asadova, PhD in Engineering, Head of Scientific-Technical Information and Patent Research Department, celebrated her 60th birthday. She was born on January 25, 1962 in the village of Bash-Gaynuk of Sheki Districtin the family of intellectuals.
Rena Asadova graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry named after Azizbeyov in 1985. . In 1980-2003, she worked as a lab assistant, senior lab assistant, assistant, and senior lecturer a Sumgayit State University (formerly the Sumgayit branch of AzIOC, later the Azerbaijan
Industrial Institute), in 2001 she defended her PhD dissertation and received a PhD in Engineering and in 2014 she received an Associate Professor's degree.
Since January 2003, R. Asadova worked as a researcher at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS. She is currently (since 2004) Head of the Scientific and Technical Information and Patent Research Department.
R. Asadova is the author of 54 scientific articles, 2 national and 7 Eurasian patents, one manual, 1 monograph. Her articles have been published in the prestigious scientific journals of the Republic and abroad.
She taught at the Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan Technical University and Baku State University. Currently, R. Asadova works as an associate professor at the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at Baku State University.
In 2016, R. Asadova was awarded the gold medal "Best Research Scientist-Patriot", and in 2017 she was awarded the prize "Scientist of the Year". Since 2018, she has been chair of the Women's Council of the Institute of Control Systems.
