Azerbaijani women have always been known throughout the history for their fighting spirit, glorifying the name of sacred mother; our women have actively participated in social, political, cultural life of country, always showing selflessness in defense of Motherland and governance, showing courage on battlefields.

True to their spiritual nature, Azerbaijani women have always upheld the greatness of their name symbolizing elegance, sanctity and beauty. Throughout history they have written glorious pages of our past with their wisdom, enterprise and purity.

Successful implementation of numerous large projects under the leadership of First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, projects serving our national interests and preserving our traditions, is a striking example of mercy and kindness of Azerbaijani woman with her rich spiritual and intellectual and high moral values.

The merits of women in all the great accomplishments of independent Azerbaijan are invaluable. As active participants of social-political, social-economic, scientific-cultural processes ongoing in our country, women of Azerbaijan are making their contribution to the growth and elevation of our Motherland, and I believe they will continue to do so in the future!
