70th birthday of employee of the Institute of Control Systems Malahat Murtuzayeva
05.03.2022 /Malahat Murtuzayeva, PhD in Economics, senior researcher of the Laboratory of fuzzy models of economics at the Institute of Control Systems, will celebrate her 70th birthday on March 6, 2022.
Malahat Murtuzayeva was born in 1952 in Ganja, Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1969 she graduated secondary school No 190 of Baku with a gold medal and entered the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State University named after S.M. Kirov (currently Baku State University). In 1974 she graduated from the university with honors and began working at the Institute of Cybernetics of ANAS (now the Institute of Control Systems) as a senior laboratory assistant.
In 1978-1982 she was a full-time postgraduate student at ANAS. In 1986 she defended her dissertation "Analysis of complex economic-mathematical production factors and the structure of agriculture in the region on the example of Agdam District, Azerbaijan SSR" and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. M. Murtuzayeva has been working as a senior researcher at the Institute of Cybernetics (ICS) since 1993. During her work at the laboratory of macroeconomic forecasting of the Institute, she has authored many research papers. M. Murtuzayeva also worked as a teacher at Baku State University in 2007-2009.
Throughout her career, she took an active part in scientific-research works conducted in the laboratory, and was actively involved in solving a number of problems related to the application of L. Zadeh's fuzzy mathematical theory in the construction of fuzzy models of economics, modeling of macroeconomic indicators.
