Evaluation of first and second year Master's students of the specialties "Computer Science" and "Process Automation Engineering" took place at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS on March 10, 2022.

 

The meeting of the Evaluation Commission was chaired by the Executive Director of the ICS, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov. The scientist pointed out that the training of highly qualified personnel meeting modern requirements is one of the priority tasks of ANAS, including ICS. In this regard, professional scientists of the Institute regularly exchange knowledge with Master's students, scientific and pedagogical practice is carried out. Speaking of the importance of the evaluation, A. Sadigov wished the young people success in scientific work and further activities, and voiced his recommendations.

 

Then the Master's students spoke about the implementation of research works as specified by the individual work plans in accordance with the topics of their dissertations, about participation in conferences, and publication of scientific papers.

 

A member of the commission, Head of the Department of Education of the Institute Sevinj Guliyeva, PhD in Mathematics, informed the members of the commission about the results of the winter examination session of the Master's students.

 

Then extensive discussions were held around the work done by the Master's students, opinions were voiced and questions were answered. The members of the commission - the Academic Secretary of ICS Zahra Azizova, Associate Professors Rena Asadova, Elkhan Sabziev, Rashad Mastaliyev, Tahir Alizada and Doctor of Mathematics Ilgar Mammadov - took part in the discussions and gave their recommendations.

 

At the end, the Evaluation Commission made a decision to transfer the Master's students to the next semester.
