Memorandum of cooperation between the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS and Lithuanian Inta CJSC was signed

On May 19, 2022 a memorandum of cooperation and joint activities was signed between the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS and Lithuanian Inta Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC).

During the meeting the General Director of ICS, academician Ali Abbasov said that the goal of the signed memorandum is to promote joint mutually beneficial scientific activities between the research institutions and individual scientists of both countries in the issues of management and digitalization of transport and logistics processes by creating e-logistics systems, digital transport corridors, eCommerce platforms. He also pointed out that this involves joining efforts to implement project activities of the EU4Digital: eTrade/e-logistics network program, including the drafting of joint proposals and the formation of multi-partner project consortia.

CEO of Inta CJSC Vytautas Vitkauskas said that the established ties in the field of electronic logistics and digital transport corridors aimed at the development of bilateral cooperation and friendly relations between Lithuania and Azerbaijan would be effective for achieving specific scientific goals. He expressed confidence that the cooperation, based on mutual technical and economic interests, built between his organization and the ICS in the aforementioned areas would create new prospects for development.

The cooperation involves joint research projects, short-term experience exchange visits.
