On May 24, 2022, employees of South Ural State University, Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation, on a business trip in the Republic of Azerbaijan Prof. Marina Samodurova, Doctor of Engineering, Head of the Information Measuring Equipment Department, Head of the Special Metallurgy Resource Center, and Leonid Chepurnov, Adviser to the Rector, visited the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS.

The guests were received by the General Director of ICS, Academician Ali Abbasov. A. Abbasov stressed the importance of cooperation in various fields of science in line with modern requirements, and voiced recommendations for the development of bilateral relations in view of future prospects and demonstrated the projects carried out by the Institute.

Associate Professor Mazahir Isayev, PhD in Engineering, Head of Laboratory of Intelligent Information-Measuring Systems, also took part in the meeting. Views were exchanged on the establishment of scientific cooperation between the two organizations, the implementation of joint projects, the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.

It should be noted that the guests will get acquainted with the activities of other scientific and educational institutions of Azerbaijan.
